Who We Are

Anchored is a ministry for all young adults, ages 18 to late 20s, desiring to grow in gospel proclamation, deep discipleship, and active faith.

Gospel Proclamation – The core of the Christian life is to see and savor the grace of God displayed in the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus. As we reflect upon that gospel message, we cannot help but declare it to the rest of the world (Acts 4:20)! The goal of this ministry is to gather around the Word together, learn what it has to say, and joyfully express that truth in our lives.

Deep Fellowship & Discipleship – No one is an island. We cannot live the Christian life removed from people (Heb. 10:23-25). That is why we take time to study the Bible together, to foster relationships among brothers and sisters of Christ as we dig into God’s Word, encouraging and teaching one another with the truth of Scripture (1 Thess. 5:11). It’s also why we have regular events not directly related to Bible study that help cultivate deep fellowship.

Active, Strengthening Faith – Every believer is a new creation in Christ (2 Cor. 5:17), shedding the old self in exchange for the new (2 Cor. 4:16), holding to the promise that God will complete the work He begins in His children (Phil. 1:6). The sanctifying process of removing the old self, being renewed in our minds, and putting on the new self (Eph. 4:22-24) occurs as we grow in our knowledge, understanding, and adherence to the Word of God. Our desire in this ministry is to learn how to study the Bible, understand what it says, and apply it to our daily lives. As we put it to practice, our faith will be strengthened and deepened.

Join Us!

Anchored meets for Sunday school each week at 10:00am in the large portable on the east side of the church property. We will also have regular fellowship events throughout the year and invite you to join us for those!
