As mission-focused Christians, it is important to diligently be cultivating humility of heart in response to the majesty of God.
If we desire to be mission-focused Christians, we need an accurate view of God and of ourselves.
Pastor Phil Foley of Community Bible Church of Vallejo, CA gave a “Charge to the Congregation” during the Installation Service for Pastor Kempiz. Pastor Phil challenged our church family to live our lives in a matter worthy of the calling of Christ by sacrificially caring for one another in the Body.
Pastor George Lawson of Baltimore Bible Church in Timonium, MD gave a “Charge to the Pastor” during the Installation Service for Pastor Kempiz. Pastor George encouraged Pastor Kempiz and his fellow elders to look to Jesus, the Great Shepherd, as they eagerly and faithfully shepherd the flock of Eastridge.
We must intentionally strive towards faithfulness to Christ in our devotion and mission.
Our relationships should reflect the lordship of Christ as the fundamental characteristic of our lives.
Reminding ourselves of our identity in Christ obligates and enables us to live as we are and not as we were.
We need to engage in the present fight against our sinfulness, trusting in Christ to strengthen us so we can walk in righteousness.
As believers, we are to seek God first of all, set our minds on things above, and look expectantly with our gaze on Christ as we await joining Him in glory.
The evidence for the resurrection of Jesus is real and gives us remarkable hope.
Be warry of false teachings by continuing to grow in the knowledge of God’s Word.
We have a great victory because of Christ.
Intellectual acquaintance with God does not equate to an intimate relationship with Him.
Resolve today to choose God’s interests over yours, so that you may become the model missionary.
As believers, our manner of life must reflect the Lordship of Christ our Savior.
God is the Master whose plan triumphs over all opposition.
Christians should be fighting for their local church in prayer—contending for maturity, unity and truth.
Paul lives to bring honor to Jesus Christ and works according to God’s command and God’s empowerment; may the same be true for us.
Cling to Christ, for He has reconciled you, to make you God’s child forever.
The preeminence of Christ tells us that Jesus is God and that the believers of His church belong to Him and are set apart for His good work and special purpose.
