In Revelation 1:17–18, Jesus reveals Himself as the eternal Living One who entered death, conquered it, and now lives forever with absolute authority over it. Our “death problem” has been overcome by Jesus because of His resurrection from the grave.
The Lamb of God was slain to take away the sins of all those who will trust Him. But three days later He rose from the grave proving that the Father accepted His sacrifice! Now there is one thing left to consider…. Will you trust this salvation or harden your heart against it? “[Jesus Christ]…. there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved” Acts 4:12
Far from wishful thinking, our Christian hope is unwavering, unfading, and will not pass away, because it's rooted in the Person and Finished Work of Christ, our glorious Savior.
Two thousand years ago, in real time and history, the Son of God suffered and died, that those who place their confident trust in Him may have hope.
The evidence for the resurrection of Jesus is real and gives us remarkable hope.
