The Good News of Jesus Christ

We desire to come along side parents in the task of training their children by teaching kids to know and trust Jesus Christ. Our focus with children is the good news of sinners saved by the work of Jesus on the cross. And the content of all our teaching is from the Bible, God's complete message to us about his work of salvation.

Bible Teaching

Children's Church takes place during both Sunday worship services and is for kids age 4 through 2nd grade. Children are dismissed from the worship service before the sermon begins and meet their teacher in the foyer before heading to their classroom. We use The Gospel Project curriculum, which teaches how the Gospel unfolds in history from Genesis to Revelation.

Sunday School is offered from 10:00 - 11:00am weekly and is for children age 4 through 6th grade. We use the Generations of Grace curriculum, which is designed to magnify God by studying His character in the pages of Scripture; glorify Christ; and point children to Christ as the only way of salvation. Using this curriculum, we teach through the Bible once every three years.

Vacation Bible School (VBS). A highlight of each summer! Kids grades K to 6 spend a week during the summer digging deeply into God's word to focus in on the saving work of Jesus Christ. Lots of games, songs, and adventures, and a staff of committed and loving volunteers make this week a memorable time for the kids who attend. 

Nursery

Sunday Nursery Care is available during both worship services and the Sunday school hour (10:00 - 11:00am) for infants to 3-year olds. Our nursery is staffed with qualified and loving volunteers who care for your children in a safe and nurturing environment.

Our infant nursery is for children ages 0 to under the age of 2. When you bring your child to the infant nursery, you will be asked to sign them in at our check-in stations. They will receive a name badge with a security code and you will receive a parent badge with matching security code. Should we need assistance with your child, we will contact you. Our infant nursery has cribs, a mother's nursing area, rocking chairs, and plenty of toys and books to keep your children busy.

Our toddler nursery is for 2 and 3-year olds. When you bring your child to the toddler nursery, you will be asked to sign them in at our check-in stations. They will receive a name badge with a security code and you will receive a parent badge with matching security code. Should we need assistance with your child, we will contact you. While in the nursery, the children will hear music, have a Bible story/lesson, and learn to play well together.

Adventure Club

Our Adventure Club meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30 - 8:00pm at the church (September through early May). All children grades K through 6th are welcome to join!
