W.O.W. - Women of Worth

Our Women's Ministry is offering many opportunities for YOU this coming year!

Bible Studies

It is our desire that every woman who wishes to be in a small group Bible study with other women will be able to attend one that fits their schedule. Please contact the discussion leaders for more information.

Monday Afternoon – 2:00 pm at the church. Studying the book of Romans led by Charlene Salisbury. Contact Charlene for details.

Monday evening, 7:00 pm
" Loving Well" with DVDs by Beth Moore. Discussion led by Jan Cudmore.

Wednesday evening, 7:00pm, College/Career Women's Bible Study of the Book of Acts. Discussion led by Sarah Buri.

Woman to Woman

Woman to Woman meets every first and third Thursday at 9:15 am at the church beginning September 17 through May 2010. Childcare is available. We are offering two studies:

"Beloved Disciple: The Life and Ministry of John " with DVDs by Beth Moore. Discussion led by Carol Iverson
"Love & Respect " with conference DVDs by Emerson Eggerichs. Discussion led by Cathy Mickelson

Upcoming Events:

Women's Spring Retreat

The Women's Retreat will take place April 16 - 18th, 2010 at the Mill Valley Motel in Eatonville, WA. This year's theme is "God Speaks Your Love Language: How to Feel and Reflect God's Love." Understanding and learning to identify God's expressions of love according to your primary love language will enhance your relationship with Him, and will enable you to love God and others in deeper, more meaningful ways. Featured speakers include: Alaire Irish (Acts of Service), Jennifer Teeler (Gifts and Quality Time), Carol Iverson (Words of Affirmation) and Lauren Hartke (Physical Touch).

Cost ranges from $105-$195, depending upon the number of women per room. Registration begins February 28th in the church foyer. A $50 deposit is due upon registration and is non-refundable after April 1st. The full amount must be paid by April 11th.

Missions Prayer Ministry

Meeting the second Thursday of each month, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at the home of Alaire Irish. The schedule for this year is: Oct. 8, Nov. 12, Dec. 10, Jan. 14, Feb. 11, Mar. 11, Apr. 8 and May 13. Join us as we: Pray for our Missionaries, Do Service Projects, Partner with and Encourage our Missionaries. Contact: Alaire Irish

There are many opportunities to serve in Women of Worth (WOW) ministries. If you have an interest in serving in any of the following areas, please contact Cathy Mickelson: arts & crafts, audio-visual (Power Point, sound), computer (newsletter, brochures, flyers), phone calling, cooking, food prep, decorations, shopping, ticket sales, sign up table, writing notes, addressing envelopes, preparing mailings, childcare and event set up.
