Women's Ministry

W.O.W. - Women of Worth

Our theme for the year is "Christ, Our Firm Foundation." A life built on the solid foundation of Jesus Christ will stand strong. It is our desire to help women grow strong in their faith in Christ so that when the storms of life come, they will be victorious.

Bible Studies

It is our desire that every woman who wishes to be in a small group Bible study with other women will be able to attend one that fits their schedule. Please contact the discussion leaders for more information.

Coming Soon

Monday afternoons (weekly) Bible study – 2:00pm at the church. Studying the book of James. Study led by Charlene Salisbury. Contact Charlene for details. Starts September 13th, 2010.

Monday evenings (weekly) Bible study – 7:00pm at the church. "Anointed, Transformed, Redeemed: A Study of David" with Priscilla Shirer, Kay Arthur and Beth Moore. This 12 week DVD Study will be led by Cherryl Boston and Kari Groot. Starts September 13th, 2010.

Tuesday evenings (weekly) Bible study – 7:00pm at the home of Trisha LeProhon. Studying the book of Galatians. Study led by Trisha LeProhon and Jen Trzeciak. Contact Trisha or Jen for details. Starts September 14th, 2010.

Thursday mornings (weekly) Bible study, at the church.

Woman of Worth Fall Kick-Off Luncheon

Saturday, September 11th, 2010 at 11:30am at Eastridge. The theme for this event is "Under Construction." The featured speaker is Jennifer Trzeciak. Come find out what is planned for Women's Ministries this coming year. There is no cost to attend and childcare will be provided. RSVPs are requested. Please sign up in the foyer.

Renew Women's Conference

Saturday, October 16th, 2010 at Eastridge, 9:00am - 3:00pm. Special guest speaker for the conference is Missy Mehringer. Missy is involved in ministries at Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, CA and at The Master's Seminary. She will speak on the subject of Pride and Humility. Missions Prayer Ministry

Meeting the second Wednesday of each month, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at the home of Alaire Irish. Join us as we: Pray for our Missionaries, do service projects, and partner with and encourage our missionaries. Dates for 2010-2011 are: Nov 10th, Dec 8th, Jan 12th, Feb 9th, Mar 9th, Apr 13th, May 11th and June 9th. Contact: Alaire Irish

There are many opportunities to serve in Women of Worth (WOW) ministries. If you have an interest in serving in any of the following areas, please contact Cathy Mickelson: arts & crafts, audio-visual (Power Point, sound), computer (newsletter, brochures, flyers), phone calling, cooking, food prep, decorations, shopping, ticket sales, sign up table, writing notes, addressing envelopes, preparing mailings, childcare and event set up.
